What does "Review Needed" mean?

A "Review Needed" status means that your background check report is complete and it returned information for HR/Recruiting Management review. The company  that requested the background check will be reviewing the items as per their policy.  This information could include things like criminal records, traffic infractions, education or employment discrepancies or possibly other information.  

If we find ANY discrepancy in information, we mark the file as needs review so our client can take note of it. For example, if you wrote that you graduated college in May 2020 and the school reported June 2020, this will be marked as Review needed for them to take note. 

Additionally, a "Review Needed" does not mean that you have been disqualified from employment or engagement.  Vetty cannot provide any additional information on your report or any insight into the effect on your chances of being hired or engaged by the company you applied to.
