Can Vetty run background checks on individuals without a Social Security Number?

It’s a common question especially when hiring globally or working with candidates new to the U.S. Here’s what you need to know.

The short answer? Mostly no, but with one exception.

Vetty can only run Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks without a Social Security number.

For all criminal background screenings, applicants must provide their full name, Social Security number, date of birth, and address. These details are required to ensure accurate, compliant searches across the right jurisdictions.
