COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker

Keeping teams safe just got easier. With OSHA’s new requirement for regular COVID testing of unvaccinated employees (effective January 10, 2022), Vetty built a simple, streamlined way for employers to collect vaccination status from candidates and new hires without adding more chaos to your plate. Think of it as your compliance sidekick: quick, organized, and delightfully stress-reducing.

Note: Vetty does not validate vaccination cards or verify the accuracy of information candidates provide. There’s currently no U.S. database for confirming vaccination status.

Getting Set Up

  1. Contact your Account Manager or CSM: Have them add the Vaccine Tracker to your package(s). Heads up: a small fee applies, ask your rep for details.

  2. Invite candidates the same way you normally do. Whether through your integration or the good old New Candidate button in the Vetty Client Portal, nothing else changes on your side.

Once enabled, you’ll see a few new goodies on both the candidate experience and your Candidate Page.

Candidate Experience

After completing their standard background check details, candidates will see a new prompt inviting them to start the onboarding process and select their Vaccination Status.

If the Candidate Selects “Yes”

They’ll choose their vaccine type from:

  • Pfizer-BioNTech

  • Moderna

  • Johnson & Johnson

  • Other (which triggers a field to enter the vaccine name)

If they’ve received one dose with another pending, they’ll enter the vaccine name and the due date for their second dose.

If the Candidate Selects “No”

They’ll have the option to add comments—totally optional.

After submitting their details, candidates can view everything they entered right inside their Vetty Profile.

New Filter

You can now filter candidates by COVID-19 vaccination status, making it easier than ever to keep track of requirements, follow-ups, or trends.

Candidate Page Button

If a candidate has submitted vaccine information, you’ll see a new COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker button on their page. Click it to view their vaccination details at a glance.
