You may want to connect Vetty with a 3rd party system via API. Many of Vetty's partners have built their own integration into Vetty. Each partner may have a different process for connecting the two systems. It is best to check with the partner if the steps are not clear.
In Vetty, generating an API key will be the same no matter which partner you are integrated with.
1. In Vetty, go to Settings
2. Navigate to the API Management tab
3. Click Add New User Key
4. Select a Client User
5. Type an IP Address. This can differ per partner. It is best to check with the partner for which IP needs to be used
6. Set an Expiration Date. We recommend 24 months
7. Click Add
Once you have added a key, your API Key will be in the API Management System table. You can single click on the key to copy it to your clipboard.
You can delete keys by clicking on the red Trash Can symbol.
