How do I dispute the results of my background check?

If something populated on your background check that was incorrect, you may dispute that item and have it removed from your background check report. 

You can dispute a charge directly through your Vetty Verified Profile.  Here is what you need to do: 

  1. Log into your Vetty Profile at https://applicant.vetty.co/login
  2. In your profile, select the drop down arrow Vetty Carrotnext to the Check that contains the case you would like to dispute
  3. Click on the Dispute text next to the case you would like to dispute
  4. Provide a statement or explanation of why you are disputing the case and copies of legal, supporting documentation (optional). 
  5. Confirm the information given in the form is true, complete and accurate
  6. Click Save to submit
  7. Click Close on the confirmation box and repeat the above steps to dispute any other information

*If you are having trouble logging into your Vetty account to submit the dispute, you may call (1-855-468-3889) or email (support@vetty.co) the Vetty team to submit the dispute on your behalf. 

Once a dispute is submitted, Vetty's disputes team will be notified. They will review the dispute and respond at or within 30 days. The background check report will either be updated to reflect the new findings or will remain as is if the original information is found to be correct.
