How to Add New Checks to an Order
Adding criminal, verifications, or health screening to an order.
Adding New Checks: What You’ll Need First
Before you start adding new checks, let’s make sure you’ve got everything you need in place. Vetty makes it easy, but there are just a couple of quick setup steps first.
Pre-requisites:

You’ll need permission to add new files in Vetty. (If you’re not sure, check with your team admin!)

You’ll also need the items you want to add available in your account as à la carte options.
If you don’t see the items you need, no worries! Just reach out to your Customer Success Manager or email support@vetty.co. Be sure to include the specific items you’d like added, and we’ll take care of the rest.
How to Add a New Check
Once a file has gone into progress, you will be able to add new items to the file with Add New Checks. (This can be performed on files in Clear, Reviewed, Review Needed Pre-Adverse or Adverse status as well).
Note: Additional charges may apply to any new checks added to an order.
To add new items to the file:
- Click on the file of the person you would like to add items to.
- Click on Add New Checks at the top of the file

- You’ll see two sections: Background Screening and Health Screening.
If your account has a lot of options turned on, just scroll down to see everything available.
- Select the item that you would like to add to the order.
- Most items will have sections of additional information that you must fill out in order to complete your selection. Fill out the applicable fields and click Add
- You can add multiples of the item here. If complete in your additions, click Return to checklist

- If adding Health Screening items:
- Select the items you would like to add. You can multi-select different items. When complete, click Next.
- You will be able to select your clinic preference, enter the zip code, set the radius, and donor pass duration. Once entered, click Check Clinic Availability.
- You can select the clinic and immediately create a donor pass OR select Next below to send an email to the candidate to schedule themselves.
- Continue selecting items and following the steps above.
- When finished, click Next at the bottom of the menu.

- You will be shown an order summary of the items you have placed. You can select Confirm and Place Order if complete, or Cancel to return to selecting items.
- The page will refresh and you will be shown a success message. The new items will be added to the file.
- If the file was in a completed status, the order will move back to In Progress automatically.
