How do I change a candidate's email address?

Nothing kills momentum like a candidate saying, “I never got the email.” Before we blame the internet gremlins, there’s one very common culprit: an incorrect email address in the system. Thankfully, it’s an easy fix and we’ll walk you through it.

First, sign in to  your Vetty account and search for the candidate or click directly into their profile. Under the Candidate heading, you’ll see the email address Vetty has been sending all communications to.

If you spot a typo or an outdated address, no stress—we just need to get it corrected by our tech team.

Email support@vetty.co with:

  • The incorrect email currently listed.

  • The correct email it should be updated to.

Our support team will open a ticket, and work their magic within 24 hours.

Once the update is complete, you can send the candidate a brand-new Start Link to kick off their check.

  1. Click More Actions…

  2. Select Send Email Reminder to Start Application.

  3. A window will appear for you to add a custom message. 
    1. This is required!
  4. Click Send Reminder.

And voilà, your candidate is officially back on track!
