Secureframe Integration

To get started, you’ll need both a Secureframe and a Vetty account, along with Developer or Super Admin permissions in Vetty.

After that, you’re ready to follow the steps below:

 

 

1. Log in to Vetty at client.vetty.co.
2. Create a new API Key.
   1. Navigate to Settings > API management.
   2. Click Add New User Key.
   3. In the window that appears:
      
      1. Select yourself as the user.
      2. IP Address: 54.0.0.0/8
      3. Expiration: 24 months. 
   4. You'll see a new line in the table. Click in the box with the API key to copy it to your clipboard. 
3. Log into Secureframe at https://app.secureframe.com/dashboard.
4. Navigate to Integrations (located on the left side panel).
5. Select Vetty in the Available apps and click Add.
6. Paste your API key into the box shown for the API token
   
7. Select Submit
8. Once the connection is complete, you’ll see a message confirming that the API was connected successfully.

Note: If you receive an error message, please ensure the API key is pasted properly and the IP address entered in Vetty is correct. If this does not resolve the issue, please email us at support@vetty.co.

Sending Candidates to Vetty

Once the systems are integrated, you will be able to add background checks to your Personnel. In order to do this, the employee must have accepted the background check agreement.

Once accepted, someone on your team will need to select the three dots next to the name, and then select Initiate Background Check.

Only after this step is completed will they get added as a new pending order in Vetty.
