What should I do if I can't remember all the details about my past employment or education?

What details are asked on the employment or education check and what if I cannot remember what to put.

Some employers may ask for up to 10 years of employment history. Which employment and education history is being asked is dependant upon the settings of your new employer. 

Please provide the most accurate information possible as we will be comparing the information you provide with the information we collect for the employer or educator.  If you do make any mistakes, please contact us at support@vetty.co and we can get those corrected. Details asked: 

Employment

  • Employer Company Name
  • Your Position/title at the employer - If you had multiple positions, you may list multiple or the most recent position/title
  • Month & year started
  • If you were self employed
  • If you still work here
    • Indicating that you still work at the company will ask an additional question - if Vetty has permission to contact them
  • The month & year you ended working there
  • The business address - address information is used to locate the correct company to contact only

Education

  • Institution Name
  • Degree Earned
    • There is an Other option if the degree type is not available
  • Major
  • First, middle and last name used during the education
  • Whether or not you graduated
  • Graduation date
  • Education start date 
  • Education end date
  • *Optional* You can upload a copy of your diploma or transcript. Providing this copy may speed up your verification. 
  • Institution address - address information is used to locate the correct school only.
