Will an expunged/dismissed record show up on my background check?

If a record has been expunged (a record that is officially sealed by a judge) properly through the courthouse, it should not be reported. Additionally, if your case has been dismissed or you have NOT been found guilty, it will not be reported.
*Note: If the case is still pending, this WILL show up on your background check report.

In the event that the courthouse did not file it correctly and it is found on your background check report, you are able to dispute the charges to correct the information on your background check.

Vetty will alert the courthouse and verify if the record needs to be removed from your file and from the background check report.
